MY NEW ROOM

My parents just came back from a trip to San Francisco. While they were gone my aunt from Florida came up to watch us. I had a GREAT time. While she was here me and my brother redid our rooms. We went up to IKEA and got all of our stuff. I got a new bed, bed set, pillows, and curtains. We also painted my room and my aunt and I did many crafts. My room is now BRIGHT green, although it is bright it looks really cool. With my aunt we made a bulliton board out of ceilling tile and fabric. We also painted these wooden letters that spelled out my name so that every letter was different colors and that they all matched my room. It all looks really cool all put together. Now that we are done with our rooms we are on to our living room. We are making a storyboard for that right now. We went to the FURNITURE HOUSE Of saratoga Lake and took pictures. We also got pics from online. Our house will look sooooo amazing when we are all done but, I don't know how long that will take we are always doing something new. I will tell you when we are done with EVERYTHING.

LAS VAGAS!!!

After the Grand Canyon we went to LAS VAGAS!!!! We stayed in the MGM Grand and the first night we had a suite. It was AWESOME! Then we had to move to a regular room, but outside our window we had a awesome view of New York New York. For the next couple of days we walked around, swam, saw shows, and had fun. Las Vagas and the Grand Canyon was one of the best trips ever!! I had sooooo much fun.

THE GRAND CANYON

For our vacation a while ago, we went to the Grand Canyon. The first day we walked around and were stunned by the canyon. On the second day we rode down the Grand Canyon on mules. my mules name was Smirfy. It was terrifing. The path was really small and the drop was really big! I was the first one since I was the youngest. I was behind the rangler who was testing out a new mule who spooked really easily so the made me even more nervous. And to top it all off at the very beginning when I was the most scared, we saw 2 deer in our path. The rangler said that they like to run inbetween the mules so we had to keep our mules really close together. My mule was being really sturborn and wouldn't get close enough to the other mule in front of me. Thank god the deer ran away but I was still terrified. Once we got to the bottom we had lunch on a peak over looking the Colorodo river. It was a 6 hour hike on a sturborn mules back and once you got off the mule it feels like your legs are molded to the mules back and you can't move them. It was great and I don't think I am afraid of heights anymore!! Oh and just to let you know these people on the mules are not us it was a pic on the internet. It is just to give you an idea of how high we were : )

Concert Update

Our concert was good. And of course we were last so it took a long time until we went. It was a little boring. Then we finally went. I stood next to one of my friends who is a little taller than me but not that much. Well she was wearing a little heel, so I felt really short. The whole time I was standing on my tippy toes. On the first song we were pretty quiet but then we got better. While we were waiting for our turn my dad told our chours teacher what I said about her in my blog, how she was nice and funny. She said I was going to get a 100 in her class. There is nothing wrong with sucking up.

Chours Concert

I have a chours concert tonight!!! I think this is our third this year. I really like chours because I like to sing and our teacher is really nice and funny. We are singing Send Down The Rain,(that one is my favorite) Da Pachem, Sing a Song of Sixpence, The Water is Wide, and Over The Sea To Sky. I have a while until it starts so I am kind of anxious right now. BYE!!!! I will tell you how it went when I get back................or the next time I can.

Syesha Mercado

This year on American Idol it has come down to the top 3, David Cook, David Archueta, and Syesha Mercado. I think each one of them is really talented and I really like them all but, I think Syesha Mercado is amazing. She has such a beautiful voice and she is a good actress too. I really liked it when she sang " One Rock And Roll Too Many," she did really good in that one. If anyone of you don't watch the show, the preformances are on Tuesday and the results are on Wednesday on FOX. I am glad Syesha has made it this far and Hope she gets even farther. I followed her from the start. She was my favorite from the beginning. Her voice is amazing.

Lilly

This is my pretty kitty Lilly. We had gotten her last Summer and we all love her. She is the funniest, cutest and smartest cat I have ever met. My dog had died last December and I missed her a lot and I needed another animal. My parents didn't want a dog right away because we aren't home enough to take it for walks and let it out, so I really wanted a kitten. There was only one problem though, my mom is alergic to cats. We knew there was a lady that lived down the street that did cat rescued and my mom told me we could go talk to her. After a long time of waiting on our home we saw her working outside and we asked her about the idea of having a cat. At that time she was fostering Lilly, the one that was really hyper and another cat that was calm but needed medicine every day. of course I like the hyper one, (Lilly) and we worked it out that we would take Lilly for a week and if my mom wasn't having huge reactions we would keep her. My mom was fine with Lilly. Every once and a while she will have a small reaction, but only because she was proably holding Lilly or she was close to her face. Lilly has been great and we all love her.
